Dead Souls (D.I.Kim Stone Book#6) By Angela Marsons.

By now the series should have become predictable, but it isn't! I also feel that this is perhaps the best crime series out there! The other good series is of D I Erika Foster. This book focuses on racism and hate crimes, which is spread across. Kim Stone has to come out of her comfort zone which she has with her team, and has to work with her former friend, now turned hostile, DI Tom Travis. First time, DS Bryant and DS Kevin Dawson are teamed up together. I think the author has done nice research and it is evident in the plot. I liked the way the past and the present collide together and sometimes, you get a feel that the past is running parallel to the present, but it isn't! The plot kicks starts when when an archeological dig uncovers a collection of human bones on a remote farm. From there, the story unfolds in most engaging manner and it isn't predictable like other books in this series. The suspense keeps you on the edge and you can't keep down until you finish reading this book. Now, I am eagerly waiting for the next book by Angela Marsons. |
