The Night Stalker (Detective Erika Foster, book#2)

The Night Stalker (Detective Erika Foster, book#2): I started liking DCI Erika Foster from the first book itself. The good thing about the second book is that the characters from the first book appear in this one as well. Also you get to know a bit more about Erika 's personal life. When the Night Stalker, the serial killer contacts Erika personally things get more interesting and the cat and mouse game begins! She has to catch this killer and save her good friend, Isaac Strong. One gets a feeling that the story is unfolding before one' s eyes and the characters are real, and that's the magic of Robert Bryndza's writing! The poem that the night stalker leaves on Erika's bed is too good.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

My rating is 4/5.
