The Body (Spanish: El cuerpo) is a 2012 Spanish thriller directed by
Oriol Paulo. As you all may know that I would watch any movie in any
language provided it is really good and has English subtitles. It has
been a while since I saw a good thriller with a wonderful plot twist
towards the end.
The ending was the best part of the movie as it turns everything upside down and you will then realize that you had just seen an amazing plot twist which you wouldn't have guessed even in your wildest dreams! The other best thing is that the suspense keeps you on the edge till the end.The actors in the movie have done a good job.The plot seems to be straight forward and makes us to believe it so.Álex Ulloa's (Hugo Silva) wife Mayka (Belén Rueda) has died of a heart attack.
The corpse has been taken to the morgue without a postmortem, but has mysteriously disappeared. The morgue security- guard Torres (Miquel Gelabert) had witnessed something which had scared the living day lights out of him - so much so that he runs out of the building and is knocked down by a car. He goes into a coma state. Inspector Jaime Peña (José Coronado) investigates the crime and the prime suspect as usual is the husband. You need to see the movie to know what happens next? I can bet that you won't be able to solve this mystery even if you try. My rating is 4.5/5.
