Gone Girl

Gone Girl : I just finished watching the movie that I wanted watch so eagerly after I finished listening to the audio book based on Gillian Flynn's book of same name sometime back. It is a twisted tale of marital life. I should say that it is a best example of how a movie could do complete justice to the book on which it is based on! There are hardly few movies to have achieved that feet. Rosamund Pike is almost like Amy from the book. She has literally gone under the skin of the character in her Oscar worthy role. Ben Affleck too has done a good job. But it is Spike who steals the show with her amazing Amy character that would stay in one's mind for a while just like the character from the book. Everything is perfect from direction to the chilling back ground score...to the performance. The movie isn't boring though it is bit longer than conventional Hollywood movie. My rating is 9/10.
