Lingaa

Lingaa: I liked the flash back part of the story and felt it was touching enough. Rajini in that part of the story was really good. It is disappointing that only that part stands out in the whole movie...the present part of the movie is unbearable...and goes to an extent of unbelievable!

It seems that the movie had been rushed...it is clearly seen as Superstar's make up isn't consistent throughout the movie...I really appreciate that he is so much energetic in this age! But the make up which should have worked in presenting him younger on screen failed badly in this movie. The climax part is a real let down in the movie...I couldn't believe that I was really watching something like this! Rajini fans might accept it, but not me being a writer myself. Jagapathy Babu was like a bad joke in the movie and terrible as the villain. Maybe, the script could be the culprit.

Sonakshi was good and Anushka was okay. Superstar was really good as usual. He gives out his best like always. Music was another let down.

My rating is 2.5/5. Watch it for Rajini and his moving performance in the flash back.
