Ivan Thanthiran

Ivan Thanthiran (2017) is a tamil political action thriller set during the time of demonetization.The film is written and directed by R. Kannan. The film features Gautham Karthik and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. I really had a good time watching this engaging movie. A lot of SFX and technology has been used in this movie and in a good way. Also the movie tries to focus on engineering students and how politicians play with their lives for making money. The script is somewhat refreshing..with flashes of Jackie Chan movie playing nearby, the BGM is done well. 

Thanks again to the writer and director for not adding unnecessary songs in the movie. Always action thrillers like this one are better off without any songs. Director R Kannan deserves a pat on his back for handling the subject very well, adding right amount of tension and some edge of the seat scenes. Go watch it and be entertained, if you haven't see it yet! My rating is 3.5/5. Recommended!
