"Let him go, baby!" Her father said.
"But dad..." Riya said sadly, with a teary eye.
"He would come back again..." He said.
"Promise?" She asked.
"Yes, I promise!" He assured his three year old daughter.
Riya let go of her hold on the Ganesh Idol, which soon disappeared into the water of the lake.
