Spring Morning
A Poem
One spring morning; I went for a walk,
With plants, trees and bushes spread
Across my way.
I could hear the birds chirp
And mother nature talk;
It was going to be another
Beautiful day!
The first rays of the sun lit
The dark sky,
Birds left their nests and
Began to fly.
I could hear the buzzing of
The bees,
And Cuckoos sing in unison
From some branches of trees.
I listened to the sound of
a flowing stream nearby,
followed the sound along
with a Dragon fly.
I removed my slippers to feel
The tickling grass on my toes,
Bent down to smell the lovely
Flowers with my nose.
I could now see the beautiful
Stream flow,
I sat down and immersed my
Feet in its water; which felt
Icy cold,
And saw the dew drops on
The grass blades glow.
Then I realized my heart felt younger,
no matter I was how old!
