A Short Story By G.S.Vasukumar

“We’re going to have a wonderful time together,” Rakesh said, as Sheetal rested her head upon his shoulder and he was gently patting her head.Sheetal whispered “Yes” with eyes closed and a beautiful smile on her face.

They were in a bus which was going to a hill station far away from their city. This was their second honey moon after their marriage. They had planned for this from quite some time.

Finally, the bus reached the hill station and they alighted from the bus. They both walked towards a guest house near a lotus lake.

“It’s so romantic, dear.” She said smiling at him. “I know..” He said giving her a peck on her cheek. “Not here! Wait till we get into the room.” She said pushing him aside and they entered the guest house.

Meantime, in Ajay’s house, in their city:-

“I love you!” Ajay said kissing Priya on her forehead. While his mobile started ringing. He picked it up from the table next to the bed and said:-“Hello!”

“Sir, I have sent you the snap.” A stranger answered from the other end.

“Let me see..... It has come so well,” Ajay said showing the picture in which Rakesh, Priya’s husband was kissing his wife, Sheetal on her cheek near the lotus lake.

“Good job, Nickel, take some more snaps. But make sure that they don’t get suspicious about you.” Ajay said.

“Ok, Sir.Bye..” He said before hanging down the phone.

“We have enough evidence for our divorce. Then we both can get married.” Ajay said hugging her.

Meantime, in a room in that guest house in the hill station:-

“What are you thinking about?” Sheetal asked kissing Rakesh.

“Well, your husband making love to my wife.” Rakesh said.

The End
