Abhijith set the alarm for next five minutes and then inserted the ear plugs which he had purchased, in both his ears.

He didn’t hear the alarm when it rang after five minutes.

Suddenly, someone seated next to him pulled one of his ear plugs off his ear and shouted;

‘Are you Abhijith Mathur?’

‘Yes, what happened?’ He asked looking puzzled at the stranger seated next to him.

‘Well, there was the last and final announcement in your name and you just missed your flight to Bangalore!’ 

He said, giving back his ear plug to him, with a big smile.
