Bombs burst outside her house in the middle of the night, waking her up. Nita found both her parents missing from the bed.
She ran outside clutching her favorite teddy.
She found smoke outside like in war movies she had seen; her dad emerged from it shouting aloud.
‘Is this the time to burst crackers?’
